With the recent release of Mobile Sites we realize that there are number of known issues remaining and while we continue to work to resolve them we wanted to share this article to address commonly asked questions and some of the restrictions and limitations of the mobile sites. Our hope is that with future releases we will continue to improve and add to the mobile capabilities of vFlyer Sites.
What devices are supported with the vFlyer’s Mobile sites?
We currently support desktop computers, smartphone devices and tablets as well. The code used for the mobile version enables your website to detect the device being used allowing it to stretch and fit accordingly.
While we support the majority of devices due to the different screen sizes and resolutions some versions of the site may vary across platforms.
How do I publish changes from my site to the mobile version?
To publish changes to the mobile version - simply click Publish from your site editor and the changes will automatically reflect on mobile versions of your site, no extra steps need to be taken.
I am viewing my website from my mobile phone and there are some missing modules.
With some of the limitations of the mobile sites, layered modules will appear on your desktop site but are hidden on your mobile phones and tablets. Currently the only way to display layered modules would be to unlayer them in your website.
I tried zooming in on my website from my mobile phone but wasn't able to.
Since the responsive design optimizes the zoom level depending on the screen size - Viewers won't need to zoom in or out so pinching and expanding is unnecessary on iPhones, iPads, etc.
